The next YorkieTalk Gift Exchange, YT GE XX, our twentieth Gift Exchange, will take place in May 2010. Remember that the person you are giving a gift to MAY or MAY NOT be the same person you are receiving a gift from. You MAY or MAY NOT be paired with a Yorkie of the opposite sex. There is no official theme for this GE, though if you want to give your Secret Buddy winter-related items, that is fine.

We suggest you use the US Postal Service to mail to Canada or a non-USA address (as UPS and Fedex charges additional fees).

- You are a Donating Member of YorkieTalk.

- You have 250 or more posts here at YorkieTalk (before you sign up in this thread).

- You joined YorkieTalk before February 1, 2010.

- Please do NOT send your Secret Buddy any USED toys or clothes. Re-gifting a new item you may have received is fine, but any USED items are not allowed.

Please do not sign up unless you are currently a Donating Member.

Please note that the spending minimum is $25 for your Gift Exchange gift (this does not include shipping), though if you choose to spend more on your Secret Buddy, you may. Please do not expect anything more.

Here is the Gift Exchange Rules and Regulations thread. Please read it again, as there have been some changes to the rules since the last Gift Exchange. We now require all participants to be Donating Members (members that have donated $25 or more). If you are ALREADY currently a Donating Member (your usertitle shows Donating Member), this does not apply to you. We must receive your donation before you may sign up for this Gift Exchange. If you want to enter two Yorkies in this Gift Exchange, you must have donated a total of $50 or more.

Here is the Gift Exchange FAQ thread.

Please note that you MAY receive a secret buddy in Canada (if you are in the US), and you MAY receive a secret buddy in the US (if you are in Canada). Be prepared to pay a few dollars more in shipping costs if this is the case. If you receive a secret buddy in Europe or overseas, there will be extra shipping costs, thus you will be reimbursed roughly $19 for the extra shipping. We will reimburse you via Paypal or cashier's check after the recipient receives their gift. Also, to save on shipping costs, you may want to keep the package "lighter".

This thread is ONLY for signups. Do not post any questions or anything else besides sign up in this thread. Please PM us if you have any questions.

You must already have your Yorkie (if you are a new Yorkie parent) by April 1, 2010 to participate in this Gift Exchange.

The signup period will end April 30, 2010. You will receive your Secret Buddy information within THREE DAYS after the end of the signup period. If for some reason you sign up and can not participate in this Gift Exchange, you MUST notify us before the end of the signup period.

You may send gifts starting May 1, 2010. The deadline for sending out gifts will be June 1, 2010.

Yorkie's Favorite Toys, Snacks, Clothing style – Armani tries not to be picky but he does have MVD (a liver disease) and therefore treats really need to be low protein, we usually stick with something that is not meat based like Peanut Butter, sweet potato, Veggie or Cheese, sadly he does not like fruitables even though they would be perfect for him. He is also not allowed to have rawhide or greenies. He loves toys, anything that squeaks is especially fun. He will wear pretty much anything but he is ALL BOY… he prefers not to wear bows. He also likes beds, blankets, and anything else interesting that you can think of.

Yorkie's favorite colors – He likes most colors but his mommy thinks he looks good in teals, blues, greens, reds, and browns.

Armani (and I) are so excited to participate for the first time and I promise you we will be happy with anything we receive. We know we are a bit picky with treats and chews but that is only because of his health. The most important thing we want is for you to have a good time and have fun shopping for my little guy… don’t stress yourself out! If there is something special that you and your Yorkie like we would love to try it, if there is an item you just can’t live without maybe we don’t know what we are missing .

Maddie is a rescue i adopted about 6 months ago-and she is a very special little girl-maddie is a HUGGGGGGGGGGEEE blanket baby--if shes on the couch, shes gotta have a blanket to sleep under-if shes in bed, she gotta be under the blanket She is allergic to most shampoos and conditioners-biogroom is the only thing i found that agrees with her. But maddie is a sweetie and will love anything she her SB gets her!--we are excited to be a part of this GE!

Clothing - Missy prefers to be naked! But I like sweaters, jackets and hoodies. I really want to get her some dresses but she's such a tomboy.

Yorkie's Favorite Toys, Snacks, Clothing style - She loves chewing toys. Would like to try one of the hiding squirrel toys that we have heard so much about. She loves dried organic snacks such as Yorkie Yummies-would like to try Zukes. We are growing our hair out and she needs more bows. Especially loves mimimomo bows with alligator clips. Mommy uses bands from Lainie. She can be a t-shirt girl as well as a "dressed up" girly-girl! Mommy loves MINI Reece's and T-shirts!!! She says it is her addiction!

Bristol is so easy going and such a good girl we love participating and will love whatever our SB gets us!
