| Buddy Belt Reviews Please? Hi, After much consideration along with worry and fret, I've decided to bite the bullet and start taking tiny Bella out for walks (or at least start training her outside on a leash). I've already ordered a jacket harness, but I'm quite interested in the buddy belt as well. She's just a bit over 2 pounds right now at 14.5 weeks, so I am assuming she would be using the size #2? I'd really like some reviews and experienced user input on this harness. Also, I'd be very appreciative if you can say how big your puppy or dog is and what size they wear. Additionally, did you get the buddy belt brand liners (soft leather liners) for their harness or is it gentle enough to forgo the liner? Thankies! |

| I think I would stick with little vest or dress harnesses till she's fully grown. The BB harnesses are not cheap, and would be a waste to buy right now. My new baby is 17 weeks, and I still use the ferret harness or if she has to wear a sweater, I put one of Cindy's (Chattiesmom) silk harnesses she makes and that is too small for the others on over the sweater. I also bought her a quilted vest harness for the holidays. I will buy her a BB harness, but not till she's finished growning.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Joey's breeder said don't take him for walks untill 2 weeks after his last set of shots, has she had all her shots yet? Joey didn't really like to walk in the beginning either, it was like walk 10 feet, carry 10 feet. I'm with Yorkiedaze, a size 2 buddy belt will cost at least $40.00, and may not fit very long. You can't be sure at this point your dog won't be over 4 pounds. There are lots of really nice harnesses at PetSmart that are less than $15.00, and if your on a budget that may be the way to go. That said, if money is no object, go for it, I love the Buddy Belt!

| Well now I'm reallly confused. I've been sheltering Bella and not taking her outside because she's not finished with her shot series yet. She goes in this Thursday for her last one, and that will be her last set apart from Rabies, and the vet will not give her a rabies shot until she's 6 months old. Well...a few other members said I shouldn't be sheltering her like that and should be taking her outside. Now I'm being told the same thing I thought...don't do it til she's had all of her shots. ...now I don't know what do to. ::twists head around and around:: |

| It made things less confusing, not more, and yeh, I think I'll wait til she's bigger to get the Buddy Belt. ....what on earth is a ferret harness? I'm going to stick with my gut and keep her inside until she's had all her shots..regardless of whether or not it may (or may not) be the right thing to do. =/ We DO have a lot, and I mean a lot, of dogs in this neighborhood. A lot of them get out of their yards as well (several of which have been to the shelter and owner-claimed repeatedly). My husband pooper-scoopers the yard twice a week, but we do have 'stranger dog' doodee in the unfenced portion of our yard sometimes. Either way I feel Bella would be much safer and healthier if I kept her inside until she's had her shot series completed. She's going potty on piddly pads and Potty Patch just fine, by herself. I'll wait til she's done with shots...thanks. |

| Love our Buddy Belt After much consideration (and about 6 different harnesses) we finally bit the bullet and got the buddy belt. We absolutely love it, and would totally recommend it! It doesn't rub, stays on securely, and our yorkie doesn't even know he's wearing it. If he hits the end of the leash there is no coughing or gagging, he's totally safe. Ours is 5 lbs, and he wears a size 3 on the middle hole. |

| Black is a great color~ I'm one of those nut jobs and everything has to match on Peanut LOL When he wears shirts or jackets it has to match with his BB. You will love the BB, It is so amazing! Peanut has had his first one since he was 2 ( he is 6). That BB has been in sand, snow, lakes, ocean, beach.. and it still looks bran new. It has been dipped in the ocean and lake as well and the water didn't mess it up at all!! He has had it on all day numerous times and doesn't mind it at all!! You made a great choice.

YT 2000 Club Member | BB is a wonderful harness! I bought my first one when Teeka was 6 months and she is now over 1 yr and she is still wearing it. Tatiana got her first BB when she was 4 months and she is still wearing hers and she is now 9 1/2 months. The buckle allows room for growth, is soft and comfortable for pups of all ages! I highly recommend one when your pup is nearly full grown. they are well work the investment and Kristin is a wonderful rep of the BB! She will help you with the right size when you are ready to purchase one for your puppy!

| I love the style/concept of the buddy belt (I have three of them) but it just doesn't work well for ZoE. They destroy her hair. So much of her hair around her shoulders was broken off during the couple of months we used them, and we're still growing out hair from it. Thankfully, they adjust wonderfully, so we're still able to use them over winter clothes.

| Buddy belts are great. They are very well made and look very stylish. They are also quite secure. You won't be able to just have one. Kristin is also wonderful to order from. She is knowledgable and so willing to help out too. |
