Welcome to YT! The breeder section is where you should have posted this, but no big deal. Anyway, false pregnancies have the same symptoms as a normal pregnancy so you can't really tell at this point. When was the breeding date(s)? Here's a good site for you to look at www.debbiejensen.com

i called the vet today and they told me that they want to wait a week for a sonagram but we werent sure on her heating days...i jus found the paper and she started her heating cycle 6 weeks ago...but i also know that when the male was in her a week later ...*not sure if normal but he was stuck in her twice-does that mean anything?*...also i want to mention(i will also mention in the breeders section) is that she is a prty vicious dog ever since her false pregnancy and im getting worried as to if she does have puppies she will either hurt them or not let me check up on them

How much does the Dad weigh? She's a good age, but 4 pounds is a little small to breed, preferably they should be 5 pounds at least to avoid C-sections, but, of course, I have seen small ones deliver naturally and larger ones needing C-sections. Your male is definitely capable of producing pups at almost a year. Did you ever witness a tie (dogs being stuck together for 5 to 15 minutes)? Sometimes at that age they just can't get it right though without help so if you didn't see anything she might not be, but if they were together the whole time he might have been able to figure it out or get lucky. I know my stud at that age didn't even know the right end, but at about 14 months he knew what to do.

If you go to that website www.debbiejensen.com you can put in the breeding date and it will give you a whelping date (due date). I'm estimating that if her heat started 6 weeks ago, she probably bred about 10 - 14 days after that, so she would be about 4 weeks along. You might want to save your money on the ultrasound because very soon you will be able to see the weight gain anyway. I really like giving an X-ray at the very last about Day 50 because you can usually tell how many to expect and also see if there are any larger pups that might require a C-section.
