looking for teapot/teacup yorkshire in California, SOCAL Hey everyone, i think i may be putting a bunch of stuff that dosent belong here in this stuff but please let me know. Intro, My call name online is Rabbyt. im 18 years old, and i live 15 mins away from downtown LA. Ive owned 3 dogs in my life starting when i was in kindergarden. Two maltese and one Pekignese...( i forgot how to spell it...) and have dog sitted a pomanarion ( yeah, i spelled that wrong too lol >.< ) The two maltese's ran away ( most recent one last month ) and i gave my pek away. that being said, i am looking for a Yorkshire ( yeah i know teacups and tea pots arent real, just messing around, i do research =D ) within the area of Los Angeles, California. I was just scammed 150...because my friend insisted. 2 pups for 300 from Cameroon. I realized this was most likely a scam but my friend wouldnt split with me for the other dog ad's that was local because they were around 400 per. If you guys insist, i can post up emails, however there is a lot. as of now, im just messing with him making his life a little harder. I am now only willing to do local buys. DISCLAIMER: im mostly looking for adoption... perferabbly a pup, but anything under a few years is fine as of now. I do not have a lot of money to buy a dog. ( im 18 ) and i do realize how much yorkshires go for. I am doing this for my girlfriend whose birthday is on wed, (03/28/07) but wont be celebarting it until saturday. I realize this is very late, but i am still willing to get it even if its past her birthday. Better late than never. I will be willing to drive to your home, i have no/little requirements on the dogs besides the age, and in good health. me and my girlfriends best friend decided to split for a dog and she's lower on money more than i am, which is why she insisted on the two pups for 300. I dont blame her cause she isnt familiar with westernunions ways and she probably dosent actually think people use DOGS to scam. I only have a couple hundred as of right now and i do realize this is a very long shot from actually buying a yorkshire terrier, or any dog in that matter. Which is why im leaning towards more of an adoption with handling fee's and such. If you know anyone that has one that they cant take care of anymore and if you yourself has one, please let me know. Mods, sorry if everythings in the wrong place, just wanted to give an intro. Im sure people on here do care about where their dogs goto unlike those ad's i see. i have a small backyard, enough for a small dog. My living room is connected with my kitchen and dining room and is also roomy enough. I live in a condo that DOES allow dogs. I am willing to be interviewed and also if you want to check out my environment. thanks everyone! oh, and my name is David.

I think it might be a long shot to actually adopt by next Saturday. Most places do home checks and the process takes a few weeks to check references, ect. They also might be concerned about your past history w/dogs running away and the one being given away and decide not to place w/you. Have you checked petfinder.com? There are usually quite a few rescues that need homes there.. good luck!

yeah, i totally understand that adopting from a humane center or the sort will take a couple weeks. i lost my first dog because we shipped him here from New York when we moved here, but at that time we couldnt find a place to stay so we rented just a room and left the dog at a friends house, which also owns a dog. However, they found a hole in the back fence from their own dog i suppose and it ran away. Gave away my second one because i had my very recent maltese and also had my pek at the same time, which my mom was going crazy over. I had my last maltese for about 9 years until just recently my mom opened the garage door and we didnt know he was in the garage. He ran away and we didnt realize until hours later. I was sort of hoping for an adoption from a private owner that is moving or some case that dosent allow him to take care of his dogs anymore. Either that or im willing to pay a couple hundred...which is probably even more a harder than find adopting probably. thanks for understanding.
