| Looking for puppy in Socal Hi, I'm looking to find a friend for Sofia she will be one on june 1st. She is 2Lbs 8oz, so I would like to find another female that will be about 3Lbs. Sofia loves to play, but she needs someone her size to play with. I'm at home all day, so they are not left alone, except for trips to the grocery store. |

| I bought my Yorkie from Noble Star Yorkies in Phelan, CA. The breeder is Pam Winschef. I don't think you can do a lot better. The dog has a wonderful personality and is a real beauty. Pam has been a breeder for over 30 years and really cares about the quality of her dogs and who she sells them to. Check out her Web site. |

| There is a wonderful YTCA breeder. President of the LA Yorkshire Terrier Club. Cindy Landry. She has a website Scruffy's Yorkshire Terriers. One of the best of the best.

| I agree Mary - Cynthia Landry has some beautiful dogs and has been breeding/showing for quite some time. If she doesn't have any pups she'll direct you to someone who does - if you ask. Sorry, I don't know anything about the other breeder.

| Keep in mind that when dealing with reputable breeders, they'll question you as much as you question them. Be aware breeders such as Cindy are not breeding to sell puppies, they are breeding for themselves and breed minimally, so you may have to be put on a their waiting list.

| That is why I am telling you to look at Noble Star. You could not ask for a better Yorkie than the one I purchased from Pam. She no longer shows but did, so the puppies are from that line. I did talk to Cindy and other breeders who show and I got the feeling what they were selling was to some extent, the puppies they did not want to show. One of them mentioned something about the bite being off, one ear down. I mentioned that to Pam and she asked me what did I expect. Show breeders keep the best for themselves. |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Yes but all their pups go through the same health checks. love and care as the show quality pups. It takes a special dog to become a "show dog", a little off on the topline, or earset not quite perfect, may mean this or any other breeder will sell to a pet home. You can get a perfectly healthy pup with good conformation from a great breeder.
