Dog Shows in Texas

Just want to let everyone know there are several dog shows coming up in Texas in the Dallas area 1st weekend in July and then the San Antonio shows (5 days worth ) the week after 4th of July weekend and then the Houston Reliant shows the week after San Antonio! All these shows are great and those close to one of these shows needs to go check them out!!

I think this is the show in Dallas Donna was talking about - Texas Kennel Club, Inc. - Sunday July 05, 2009 Follow link to Premium List and it will pull up the catalog. It states it is at the Dallas Market Hall.

Thanks for posting this Donna! I am looking forward to showing at all three of these shows.....lots of fun the month of July!!

Looking forward to meeting anyone that attends! I will be watching ringside for the yorkies! (I will showing my silky.)

For those that have not attended these before.....the San Antonio shows are huge with great vendors and the Houston Friday show will be shown on tv (using sometime later).

They are great! Yes, I will be showing a client dog and bitch at these shows along with Radar I'm finally getting to where I want to go in the dog show world YEAH!! I'm just now trying to start a waiting list for other clients after I finish this dog and bitch I'm just so excited about what's in store for me
And to think...some just didn't think I would get very far and succeed in this endeavor. I do, however, want to thank those that doubted me for the giant push you gave me towards my goal. As I always say when someone says you can't succeed just makes me push myself harder and get to where I want to go! I actually want to "THANK YOU" for pushing me and prove myself as a handler/exhibitor

Who's the judge? I haven't looked at the list in awhile to see who the judges are LOL....be sure to come and introduce yourself would love to meet you! You will see some beautiful yorkies showing in Dallas

You're going to do great, Donna! JMO, but I think Radar shows much better for you than anyone else. You do a beautiful job with him and the others you have shown. There is certainly a need for more Yorkie handlers that take great care of their dogs and truly love them. With you starting here and Mary (Mardelin) in California, the Yorkie show world will be a better place! You know I always wish you only the best!

Thank you for the show of confidence in me and I appreciate the your kind words Morgan was a joy to show and I do have to brag some here...Morgan is now a Canadian champion! Her owner/breeders finished her today in only 3 shows in Canada! She went Group 1, Group 2 and now a Group 3 today to finish her for her Canadian championship! I'm just so thrilled for Morgan and Team Groveshire!! I was so honored that Preston and MaryLou let me show Morgan here in the USA and now she's done well in Canada!! WTG!!! I'm a happy camper!!!

This is great Donna! It all just takes time. I know myself, since I am just getting where I want to be with my yorkies. If we could just fast forward in time to where we want to be, but then that would not be as much fun as getting there.

I wouldn't trade the experience for anything! I think the only thing I would do to rewind back time is getting into this earlier than when I did LOL! I'll get to where I want to be and then retire knowing I accomplished some great things AND learned from the best!!!
You're right, they actually don't realize how much they help ya accomplish when they say you can't do something, or have "limited" success Just makes me strive that much harder to prove myself in all areas of my life! I've always been this way and don't plan on changing now LOL! I always say, you get what ya see and if you don't like it, won't hurt my feelings and you don't have to hang with me I am who I am and you get what ya see Not perfect, don't claim to be. Like me or hate me doesn't matter I am who I am Love ya T.

Her name is Linda Rich and I think she will be judging the Hound Breeds. I cant wait to meet you guys and see your babies. I just spoke with TeresaM and she may come also. What days will the Yorkies be showing?

OH no wonder I don't know the judge LOL! I don't show hounds ROFL!

Yorkies will be showing Friday, Saturday and Sunday the times aren't available yet as the judging program isn't available and the show isn't closed yet. Still alittle ways away. The show won't close for entries until the last part of June Will be great to meet you also I've met TeresaM and she's very sweet! You'll just have to come up and introduce yourself as I'll have 3 yorkies showing and will probably be a scatter brain those days LOL.
