I am stuck! The first two pics are one female, and the last two pictures are a different female. Which one do you think has better qualities for the standard? Stupid question, I know. But I often second guess my opinions because I am still learning. From what I know, the blue in the face of the first female is not a good thing right? The first female is 15 months and the second is almost 10 months.

I like them both. I have one that is blue in the face and front of the head. Just recently, that blue has started turning a bight gold color.

tail What is everyone's opinion on the tails..will she have to dock or correct one too long? I can not urge anyone to buy a full tail at this time for the ring..unless you have money to throw away..BUT I am not familiar with the West Coast..you can get away with different things in different areas..like color and texture, size etc...I wish you the best...

I do know that at the time I was showing Go-Go (in Texas) there was a bitch being shown with a full tail. She showed to judges from all over the country....she eventually had to be pulled.....the standard does state the tail should be docked. As far as picking one.....I'll share what was sited to me......If you can find 3 faults, don't show the dog, the judges will find more....So, 3 strikes your out. But, then I wouldn't pic a show dog from a picture....I'd want to have my hands on the dog and watch the movement....as well as look at the pedigree. I'd also want to have full knowledge of the breeder and their practices.
