Pet stairs?

Does anyone have these pet stairs? http://catsplay.com/as_narrow.php3 I really need to order a couple of sets for our couch and our 27" bed, but I have seen so many kinds. What kind does everone use? What do you like the best? Should I get the foam ones, plastic, wood, what? I am so confused on this, there are too many options. These on this site come in lots of different sizes, what size step depth would be best for a yorkie you think? Any advice or pictures of what everyone here uses would sure be appreciated. Help!!

Those do look nice. I was concerned with the steps for new puppies so DH built me some ramps and carpeted them. He put a hinge between a long board and a small board and then added the carpet. That way the smaller board can be placed up on whatever they want to climb to and the longer one can be slanted for them to easily walk up. Ben runs up and down it like crazy.

I bought two sets of the faux shearling covered steps on e-bay for a good price and use those for the couches. I also have a wooden one for my bed. The wooden one is really pretty but my ankles prefer the foam!!! I keep bumping into the wooden one and getting bruises. my dogs use the steps almost all the time but sometimes do the superman jump...

I am very familier with the "supergirl jump" Lily does that often off of the couch. I have to keep a close eye on her, I am afraid she will get hurt.

I have the 3 step wooden ones with the fleece cover and my late 6lb. Yorkie used them easily. I know what you mean about too many choices!

Those steps look nice but they look a bit steep to me. I have had enough difficulty getting Gracie to use the standard kind. I bought the plastic pet steps at PetCo for use with my sofa. They are fairly flimsy. What I really like are the foam ones that I ordered for use with my tall bed. Shipping was fast and they look great, and they are not heavy like wood. http://www.geocities.com/mcpetsteps/

Yes, as a matter of fact I do have these very stairs. Bought them when we got the Yorkie as the bed is "way up there" and he took to them like a duck to water. On the other hand, the Maltese will not use them at all but she is a little bigger than him by 5 lbs. so don't know if the steps are not deep enough for her or if we have just spoiled her (had her 2 yrs vs. six months for the yorkie) by picking her up and putting her on our bed. hummm We bought the four step wood ones with carpet. They are heavy, solid and perfect for the yorkie........paid $125 w/ shipping but I think it was from another web site. If you want more information as to where, post here and I will to through my files and find it. I'm just too tired to do it tonight. sorry Better yet, tomorrow I will take a pic of them and if I can get the yorkie to stay on them long enough, I'll get one of those so you can see.

I was the same as you and couldn't decide on the steps until I saw the one on PetEdge.

It folds flat and has nice deep steps that my Jazzie feels very comfortable using. It can even be converted to a ramp! It's made of wood and super sturdy!

I have these steps. I got them at Gordmans for about $30. they are very list weight but sturdy. My 8 lb poodle goes up and down them all the time and they stay put just fine. Tinke at 3 lbs. bounds up them like they are clouds.

I have those for Mojo! We got ours at Target last year for $20?? something. I need to get another set, but w/ the four steps. Mojo likes these and uses them all the time.

I bought some foam ones on eBay and after a little coaching, Jaxon is using them fairly regularly. He's good on going up, but still jumps off the bed sometimes.

The ones we have are super light but wish they were a bit higher. I found them less expensive than some other options. I was nervous about paying too much without knowing if he'd actually use them.

i also got those steps for Remy, he didnt use them when i first set them up, but now he uses them frequently. at the Sharper Image Stores here in San Francisco, they are on clearance sale for $9.95 (+tax), just got another last weekend. try to check their store in your area, but i believe they're now sold everywhere.
