| Stroller reviews So back when Callie was a puppy we started going to pet expos. Well Callie was not happy on the floor with all the feet and big dogs so I had to carry her and as a bigger yorkie that got to be a little much. Well that is when I bought my first pet stroller about 12 years ago. They were still new at that point and I got the cheapest model. It worked but there were no tethers to buckle her into so that I could leave it open like she enjoys and when zipped there was a weak point in the side where she could climb out. Also I’m short at 5’3” and this stroller was to short for even me. Well over the years we upgraded several times. I love the stroller Callie has now and I have used it to for pet events and for her to be in after leg surgery’s. Well it’s big and can hold at least 3 of my larger pups but Penny and Joey prefer walking. I also don’t want Callie getting stepped on by her siblings. Well Ollie is very shy and timid and refuses to walk so he would go in with Callie. Well my dad generally pushes Callie around and they do their own thing but Ollie is ok with my dad but a bit fearful of him so I want Ollie with me but when I take the stroller it’s to big for some of the booths and my dad doesn’t always watch the pup on the leash as well as the one in the stroller. So I bought one of the cheap smaller ones for Ollie. I am so surprised about all the changes they made! They added tethers, a better basket, Velcro where the dog could escape, and it’s taller I am thrilled. Of course everyone had to try it. Pictures of both my strollers.

Thanks for this Info. The one I bought has it's, not really problems, it works VERY well, and Katy LOVES it.....but like you said, could use some tweaking. Has anyone bought a human baby Umbrella Stroller and taught their dogs to ride in the seat of it???? My Dog Stroller is a cheap one I found on ebay. I wanted 4 wheel sets....it works REALLY well for the, I think I paid like $42 delivered. And it is so convenient. I have the basic same in Pink....but it is at our SD place...I used it for my GSD puppies. I have to say, the added weight of the GSD puppies made the steering easier. | |

| I also have 2 strollers, one has 4 wheels the other has 3. Depending on where I am going depends on which one I use. Most times lol I never know where I'll end up so I have been using the Pet Gear Special Edition because it has 3 wheels and easier for me to maneuver if there are no automatic opening doors and I have to open the door my self. I leave the cup holder tray off because I don't use it if I am shopping. There is a built in tether, the hood and front screening is zipper-less. My king in his buggy lol

| Penny my wild child (the one standing up in the stroller) was like like uhh no mom I don't do strollers. She loves being on the ground where she can say Hi to everyone animal or human lol. She always amazes me and shows me you can go through crap and still be just as happy as ever and not jaded. I got her at 8 months from a women who wanted her gone asap because she had been a gift for a 12 year old who lost interest. She was very dirty, had a bad UTI, not spayed and acted like she was given very little food. She also had no idea what a collar and leash were. She is still just the happiest girl ever.

| My Matese at 17 pounds, we would go to flea markets, I always carried her, I would never let a small dog walk among all those feet, at dog expos I guess ppl are aware dogs are walking, I still would not chance it.

| I have a stroller for Gidget that we use mostly when I take her to the nursing home. It's a perfect height for residents to reach over and pet her without having to bend over. Many of them have issues with their hands and arms so I can't let her sit in their laps but they still get to pet her. It's pink and I try to put a dress on her that has some pink in it. She gets so excited when we pull into the parking lot. |

| Lately I have been seeing more aggressive dogs at the pet expos which makes me extremely concerned. I have no idea why anyone would bring an aggressive dog. It gets frustrating for those of us who enjoy them and follow the rules. I didn’t get to go to my favorite one in January which was huge because of family issues but we will be going to one at the end of March. I really want to try out the stroller before then but I may have to have patience which I don’t have lol.

| Cody was 6 years old when I won the stroller from YORKIE HAVEN RESCUE Mega Raffle. That was the first stroller, being he was 6 years old and never in a stroller I didn't know if he would stay in it or jump out as soon as I put him in it. To my amazement he stay in, so I pushed him around inside the house, he was all chill and relaxed. I took him out and put the stroller on my deck where it was a less smooth surface, then put him back in, I have a 42 foot long deck, I walked him back and fourth a few time and he was still relaxed, it was like he was born in a stroller lol. You can do this with your stroller until you go to the next pet expo, even take the stroller to the yard where there is no smooth pavement just wheel them around for 5 or 10 minutes, this way you get the feel of it to before taking it out in public.
