| I do not have this one but I love my stroller! I guess it really depends on what you plan to use it for. Mine has air filled tires which allows me to go on the road, grass, gravel driveways, etc. when on sale, mine wasn't much more expensive than this one. They run 40% off sales on Baxterboo often so it's really good deals. I'm sure they might have one similar to this. Here is the one I have. Guardian Gear Sprinter EXT II Dog Stroller - Sage Green at Baxterboo. Hopefully someone can give you more information on the one you are looking at.

| I like this one because I can't see my husband being seen with me pushing a stroller but he might use the backpack feature Any other sites with strollers you like would be appreciated. I may have missed some.... Thanks! |

| While I like the concept of a multi-use item, they don't seem to be the best in each category, so I prefer to buy individual items I really like. I prefer a booster as a car seat as my pup loves to look out the window & see all the goings on while we travel. It also stays put in my car, so I don't have to keep grabbing it & buckling it in for each outing. For a carrier, I'd want something less clunky than that backpack. I have a few kwigy bos & a fundle, along with a ton of large personal handbags that work too. And for a stroller, I prefer something more open and with more storage. I have two Pet Gear special edition strollers. I got sick of being out & wanting it & not having packed it, so I bought another, and now have one I keep in the car at all times & another at home.

| I don't have that exact stroller, but it looks very similar to the one I have. Mine doesn't turn into a backpack, but I can unhook it and use it as a carrier. It also has a different zipping mechanism. It's unzips in the front like a regular crate would open and it has a hole in the top that your dog can stick it's head out of...if it's big enough. My dog has to stand on his back legs to put his head out. I personally am on the lookout for a new one...one like BabygirlRosie posted. The one I have is too close to the ground, so it looks like I am pushing around a bag...so people are more curious as to what is in it....AND I don't feel my dog can see out of the one I have as well. I KNOW he can't see me very well unless he's looking at my legs or he's got his head out the hole on top. The one you posted does have a lot more mesh on it though. I'd also like him to be higher off the ground, as I have to bend way over to get him in and out. You may want to look at the measurements of that stroller and make sure the carrier sits far enough off the ground. It looks like it might be higher than mine, but I am not sure. I've also ran into the problem that I now have 2 dogs...not just one!! So I can't fit them both in there. I am on the lookout for a new stroller for the holiday weekend coming up. There is a little festival close to me and I'd like to take the boys and have a safe place to keep them...so I may be splurging!! |

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | It is really hard to decide what stroller to get. We have a few threads about it. I was going through the same thing. What you need to do it make a list. . . . I know but I am a list maker. What are you using it for. If you are just using it for events, street walks, uneven ground or even jogging. That is important. Then look at the features. I wanted air filled tires, a tether, a tall height I also wanted a metal bar to hold up the basket. I found a few that did what I wanted. It is really hard to decide what stroller to get. Pet Strollers : Promenade? Pet Stroller Amazon.com: Guardian Gear Sprinter EXT II... Dogger? -The SUV of Dog Strollers They all range in price. We have some wonderful people here that sell them too Kristin (Maximo ) and Shinja (LilSis) I also looked at how it is made. I would rather spend once for a good one then after a year or two have to get a new one. I hope I did not confuse you more. But I just went through the same thing and looked at tons of them. My DBF was put through the agony over it .lol He was the one that told me make sure you get a well made one. Just because he is a pup doesn't mean that you shouldn't have a well made one. You will be happier that you did then buying one and not being totally happy with it and have to get another one within a year. Good luck with your search. Post which did you end up choosing.

| Think about how much space you have in your vehicle for a stroller, too. There are umbrella style that fold up really small, then regular strollers, then bigger strollers that usually have air inflated tires. I was originally looking at a larger stroller with air tires, but the folded dimensions wouldn't fit in the trunk of my Mustang. I went with the pet gear, and it barely fit...I really had to squoosh it to get it in, and it took up all my trunk space, so I'd always take it out if I wasn't going somewhere I for sure was going to use it. Then I'd end up being out & not having it at times I wanted it. Then I bought a new car and it has a HUGE trunk. I keep a stroller in it at all times & still have room to haul stuff. So depending on what you drive, might affect your choice of stroller.
