| Car seats? Do anyone use these? Not sure if I need to get one. Maxi is usually in his bag when we are in the car. I was looking at this one but it goes on the console, so not sure if its good or not? Pet Console Car Seat - GW Little Does anyone have any that they recommend? Thanks!

| I have just ordered Harley a seat, and am expecting it in the next couple of days. I have been looking into different ones for a long time and found this one: Pet Furniture, Litter Box Furniture, Dog Car Seats & Dog Beds: Pet Gear - Booster Pet Car Seat in Charcoal I ordered the medium, which only has one tether. I really like the look of the seat and it looks to me like the seat belt would be more secure with this one than ones made similiar. I have looked at different console seats but have captin's chairs in my first and second row and I wasn't sure how it would work. I like the idea of having one that I can just leave in the car also, and I don't think I would want a seat left on the console if not in use, jmo! I will let everyone know what I think, and more importantly what Harley thinks about his when it arrives! Jeri and Harley |

| I got one from Petsmart that is similar. It is by "Outward Hound", and it is a basket type set up that has two straps. One goes around the headrest and one goes around the back of the chair. There is also a clip in the basket that you can use to clip to their collars. It's just big enough for Spike to lay down in, and deep enough that if I break suddenly, he won't fall out. I'm a big fan of car seats, because if it's you're in a minor collision, your dog could be badly hurt by the airbag, not by the collision itself. This way, they're kept far enough from the dashboard, and nice and secure in case something goes wrong. |

| car seat I have one that sits on the seat with a strap around the headrest. It attaches to a harness and holds my baby secure. They love being up higher and seeing out the window. You can adjust the height of the seat with the headrest strap. |

| hmm.. thanks ladies! I know Maxi needs to see us in the car or he will freak out lol. So nothing to high for him, thats why I was thinking of the console seat. He isnt in the car that often, so I dont think it will be too much of a pain to take in and out.

Izzy was sharing space with her buddy Angel in the large Snoozer when we went to the YT meetup in VA this past July and it was an 8 hour trip and then last year to KC for the 13 hour trip. Check Ebay too they have great deals on the Snoozer.

| console carseat I have a couple of the snoozer console car seats. I have one that is a high back and one that is the regular quilted fabric. They are both the larger size and I love them. What kind of vehicle do you drive? |

Personally, I don't like the basket seats that hand from the headrest as most people use these in a front seat and they are not supposed to be used there. A front airbag going on in case of a collision will kill your baby.

| My bf made Lilly's carseat. Sometimes we use it, sometimes we don't, just depends.

| I've have had both the over the seat kind and the snoozer. I LOVE the snoozer. We first had the over the seat type, but Toby got terrible motion sickness in it so we had to quit using it. Decided to try the snoozer, bought a console first because at that time we only had 1 dog. He loved it from the start and no more motion sickness at all. We now have Lola too, so have graduated to 2 of the buddy snoozers. Both dogs have plenty of room to move and lay down to sleep, and they love them so much they'll actually sleep in them when the seats are in the house.
