| welcome to YT!! Would love to see pix of your new furbaby if you can order online. I would recommend ordering brushes and combs from Chris Christensen Systems, Official Site, Internationally Renowned Canine Grooming Products Used By Top Show Dogs! - I would recommend the 20 mm gold pin brush. It's a bit of money - but it will be worth it. It is wonderful on their coats probably from petco though you can get Cloud Star products - I highly recommend Buddy Wash for a shampoo, they also have conditioner

| Hi, I too recommend the Chris Christensen brushes but I use the 20 mm pocket fusion brush, the pins are brass. As for grooming products I have used Duurstede products for several years and have been very pleased. The website, DuurstedeŽ A dog's best friend! has a very educational article on grooming. It also gives detailed information on each of their products. If you have any questions there is an email address for you to email questions. The owner of the company has always answered my questions in a very timely manner. The products are a bit expensive but they are also very concentrated and last forever as it only takes a small amount for each bath. One of the products I have only ordered once since I have been using it. JMO, good luck with your little one. Lisa |

| I have learned the hard way not to go cheap on brushes and combs. I have Chris Christianson and also a Mason Pearson brush. There are many good shampoos out there for dogs. I use Pure Paws and Plush Puppy products. The leave in conditioner I use is human Infusium. You will need at least one metal comb (greyhound type, buttercomb) and a pin brush. I love my Mason Pearson detangler for most of my brushing. Never brush your dog dry. Always use a spray on conditioner when brushing day to day. |
