| Help! Grasshopper has Arthritis Does any one know what I can give my little old guy to help with the stiffness and I am sure he has some pain? My vet has been less then helpfull! I am at a loss to know what to give him or how much, he only weighs 3 lbs. I am hoping that there is a supplement or herb that will help.Any suggestions would be great, thanks so much.

| My sister had a little yorkie that got so crippled up with arthritis that he couldn't climb stairs anymore or jump onto the couch, etc. Her groomer told her she should give him glucosamine. She bought hers from her groomer and it was in liquid form that she kept in the refrigerator. She mixed it with a tablespoon of cottage cheese when she gave it to him. I don't remember how long it took, but that little guy acted like a puppy again. He ran, climbed stairs, jumped...all the things he used to do. So, that is the only idea I can come up with for your little one. We couldn't believe how much it helped Rhett Butler! I hope that you can find some relief for your little one. I suppose there is also pain meds for dogs with arthritis. Good luck!

| My sweet old kitty suffers from arthritis as well. My vet also recommended liquid glucosamine. I ordered a product called SynFlex online and have been giving it to her for about a month. There is a noticeable improvement in her movement. It's for humans, dogs & cats--the dosage is just lower for animals. Mix a little in his food every day and you should see an improvement in about 2 weeks! |

| Does any one know the dosage for a 3 lb dog? I would hate to give him too much or not enough.
