Need help! Yorkie who pees on people! - YorkieTalk.com Forums

Has anyone ever had this problem? I have no idea of why this dog would do this. He will pee every where and even on people. The vet can't find anything wrong with him. Could it be a behavior problem????? HELP!!!!!

I would like to borrow him for awhile 'cause I have some people I would like for him to pee on

Come on did you teach him to do that? Sorry I don't know why some dogs do that. When I was a teen we had a dog that would pee on people, but only certain people. I have no idea why he did it.

Sometimes they will dribble pee when they are excited. Is that what he is doing or is he actually hiking his leg on someone? I have a female that used to pee everytime someone picked her up but it was more of a dribble type thing and she did finally grow out of it when she was about 3 years old.

ditto!!!! I actually was puppysitting someones male pomeranian, who lifted his leg and peed on my neighbor!! I dont know why he did it but I didnt tell her either. My other neighbor saw it and we had a good laugh, she wasnt a nice person.

Ok ladies........lol............ I can see the humor in it too.......lol...... I could use him as a weapon myself!

But, this is serious. If I don't take him, his owner is going to have him put to sleep on Monday. Of course, I'm going to take him and work with him on this problem. If only I knew what the problem could be - all owners who surrender usually lie, she only said she just couldn't stand him another minute, he's ruining her life...... ye gads, wish me luck.

Lucky dog! That is wonderful you are saving him, and perhaps he is just very nervous. If the owner is putting him to sleep, I would wonder why? However, peeing is certainly not a reason to end his life.

I think it is a show of dominance. I have an un- nuetered male husky and he will try to pee on another male.

My Joey always wears a belly band in the house and will hike on anything and anyone. Now, outside, he doesn't wear a band, but doesn't hike on anyone either.
