| a vegetable loving yorkie? Our little yorkie is completely hooked on raw fruit or vegetables. Her favourite treat is sliced apple or cucumber. but she also loves raw green or red peppers, carrots, green beans or peas. In fact any raw vegies or fruit. Each evening when I am preparing dinner, she expects her serving of chopped fresh vegetables/salads. But she is less than keen on her Hills Diet - and looks at it as if I have made a big mistake. I can see her thinking: "You cannot be serious thinking I will eat THIS!!" |

| She's smart. She knows what's good for her and what isn't. You should home cook. HIlls is one of the worst dog foods you can buy. |

| Loki does that with the banana! And he knows he only gets one bite so he takes a HUGE bite. He loves green beans, apples, strawberry smoothies and anything else I'll let him eat too!

| Home cooking I also believe home cooking is best, but with 4 dogs, 5 cats (also 2 parrots and 2 budgies) and a day job, it just doesn't seem realistic. We also travel a lot, which means our pet minder has to take responsibilty for our furry and feathered babies. Although she is great with the nurturing and loving, she cannot be asked to cook for them. 2 of our cats are 18 years old - so the Hills food can't be all that bad. |
