Yorkies lose their baby teeth at around 5-8 months of age, but Yorkies usually have to get some teeth pulled as all don't fall out fast enough.

Sukoshi lost very few baby teeth on her own, but all her adult teeth came in anyway by 6 months, so she had 2 complete top rows of teeth. When we had her spayed at 7 months, they pulled all the baby teeth from the top row + one tooth from the bottom row, so 10 teeth total.

Yea...I thought the same thing (especially at $12 per tooth...and they even gave us a discounted price because we had to pull so many), but it looked so weird having two complete rows of top teeth, and the vet said it would cause her problems later on, so we didn't have a choice. It didn't seem to bother her at all though. The first night, I gave her wet food because I figured her gums would be sore, but she was back to eating her kibble by the next morning. I guess she was probably used to chewing with her adult teeth anyway (they were farther back than the baby teeth), so she probably didn't even notice.
