| Has she been to a kennel, or a pet store or public park where other dogs are... it could be Kennel cough. Kennel cough usely sounds dry like their kind of choking. Our boy , Rascal had kennel cough... it took around 2 mths to get over it.... but he did Finally

| would you discribe it as a honking?? or like she is trying to get something out of the back of her throat?? if this is true it might be kennel cough. Layla had it.. the vet can give her antibiotics to keep it from becoming pneumonia, but kennel cough itself is a virus.. and it just has to run its course.. you might want to try a humidifier! it can take up to a month or so for the cough to be gone completely.. good luck! it's no fun i know!! |
