Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Bully Stix smell worse than King Kong's toe jam Okay - am I the only one who is beyond repulsed at the smell of bully stix? I'm a nurse, and believe me, I've smelled some pretty bad things - but these Bullies get really stinky while the dogs chew them. The calculation is thus: toe jam x long-term unwashed gym-usin' flesh + a 2-day-wet dish rag = Bullies smell. I feel better now. Anyone? Ann

| I have to say, they do have a "smell" to them. But the ones we get by RedBarn aren't all that smelly. Besides it keeps Rudy entertained for a LONG.... time, so I feel it's worth the smell. P.S. Your calculation was so... funny.

| I am a BIG bully stick fan but recently I tried some Pixie Sticks and they're awesome -- no yucky smell!! You can buy them here www.beyondspoiled.com The owner of the website if Kathryn_V, a YTmember. The Pixies Sticks are 5 sticks for $5, a great buy if you ask me!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Interesting comments on the different smells from differing vendors. I got mine from eddieb on ebay - I wonder if others who buy from him notice the smell...

| I got some of the beef tendons from Tinkerbell's Closet that say they have no smell. I am super smell sensitive and I think they stink - so I can't imagine how bad bully sticks are!! I love your description of the stench btw!!!!

Eddie's are the only ones I use, I have never noticed a smell at all, and believe me, I can smell poo from the other side of the house if one of my "monsters" decides to test me. I have not tried the others.......

| Too many dogs are getting sick and diarrhea off of those bully sticks. It's no wonder........look at what all they have to be putting in and on them to keep them from rotting on the shelves. And since it's a food product, why doesn't it have a proper label? You may want to check into these things before hand. I hear some have been recalled already too. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Diarrhea???? Marcel is having a bout w/ diarrhea right now - and we just started Bullies last week. I know mine are safe from the recall bc they're from Eddieb. BUT, I did not know they are known for diarrhea. Are others experiencing this?

BANNED! | I dont use bully sticks, my vet recommends good ole' femur bones. So thats what mine chew on as well as a few big knotted rawhides that are so big they only chew on them but can never actually eat them. |
