Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Why are Bully Stix safe and rawhide not? Hi Friends, Just received my Bullies and the boys LOVE 'em! They seem to have a similar texture to that of rawhide - so, why are these okay for our babies when rawhide is def. not? Are they more easily digestible or something?

| This is my take ont he rawhide v bullystick issue. Rawhide is made from the hide of the animal. I could probably say that most cattle (at least in the USA) are treated with rub on and pour on chemical insecticides, worners, medications, etc. I cannot help but believe that there would be harmful residue. BullySticks and Tendon chews come from INSIDE the bull. Remember the penis is encased inside a sheath so with bully sticks you are getting a strip of muscle or tendon (I don't know which). The best option, however is to get Bullys and Tendon chews from cattle that are free range and certified to be chemical free. |

| Ok, Im new here. Just had Roxi for 4 months. She is 1year. I gave her a piece of bull chew ,(she had been chewing it down from about 5 inches)about 2 1/2 inches long turned around and it was gone! I looked everywhere for it!.....if she swallowed it...(I havent seen anything come out yet)would it be in the form of poop? Hoping the chew gets pooped, Kim and Roxi |

My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | My Brodie swallowed one about and inch to inch and a half before too. I seen how small it had gotten tried to grab it from him, and he swallowed it!!! Scared the crap right out of me. I don't know what happened to it, but he didn't have an problems thank god. I now throw them away as soon as I see they are getting down. |

| My piggy Tinka gets so greedy that she will swallow big chunks of bully stick and she hasn't had any problems. Sometimes her stools look a bit odd. Once in a while she will upchuck the piece.... |
