Hello,

Getting my new boy this weekend - currently being fed Euk. Puppy Food for Small Breeds. YIKES. This is a one-star food on that dog food review site.

Anywho, I want to get him on Wylie's food - Canidae ALS. Do others have their pups on Canidae? I'll do a slow transfer mix over to the new - but what I'm worried about is that, often, these poorer foods taste better and I cannot chance him not eating bc he is a TINY (breeder's normal litter threw a tiny).

SO, do I continue just w/ EUK until he's older (currently 4 mths) and risk allergies OR do I gently push for a slow transfer to the Canidae?

Mine seem to like Canidae - the kibbles are really small too!

When I got mine they were on that 'crap' Euk. too

I switched slowly - over a 2 week period - I switched to Innova and all seemed good as far as them liking and eating something better - I didn't stick with Innova b/c it was too high in protein for my 2.

Canidae is very good though, I would def. switch form that crap Euk.

my 5 month old male puppy has been on Royal Canine puppy and I just bought chicken soup..... he won't eat the chicken soup.... I have just given him a little and he eats the Royal Canine but will leave all the Chicken Soup.
What should I do??
The funny thing my 3 yr old shih tzu usually steals the Royal Canine puppy and she won't even sneak the Chicken Soup,.
I thought they were suppose to Love chicken soup... it sounds good
