| Which Eukanuba? Hello Does anyone know if the poison was in the Eukanuba canned puppy? I bought and fed this to my two tiny puppies a couple of weeks ago. They seem fine. It was not the kind with gravy, just chopped whatever [I'm afraid to label it meat now] I got an email from Petsmart Petperks saying I had purchased a recalled food Karen Grande |

| YES it was! I would definitely discontinue the use of it. Here is the list of Eukanuba dog food affected: EUKANUBA DOG * Bites in Gravy 5.3 oz Pouches * Puppy with Savory Chicken * Puppy with Hearty Beef * Adult with Savory Chicken * Adult with Hearty Beef * Adult with Lamb and Rice * Adult with Beef, Pasta and Vegetables * Reduced Fat with Savory Chicken * Senior with Savory Chicken * Chunks in Gravy 5.5 oz Cans * Puppy with Savory Chicken * Adult with Savory Chicken * Adult with Hearty Beef * Adult with Hearty Stew with Beef * Senior with Hearty Beef I'm glad your pup is still feeling fine, but please... DON'T give your puppy anymore of that as it's on the list!!

| This link gives the recalled food and yes Eukanuba is on it. I would have your dog checked by a vet. Thee is someone else on here that feed it to their dogs and they are in kidney failure http://www.menufoods.com/recall/

| It's been at least two weeks since my little ones ate the stuff. I checked the Eukanuba website and I don't think the one I gave them is actually on the list Eukanuba says that their 'pate' selections are not on recall. I will go up to Petsmart and check. Thanks all, Karen and the babies |

| To anyone wondering. Eukcanuba canned puppy 'growth' formula is not on the recall. It's still on the shelves at both Petsmart and PetCo. I did get an email from Petsmart saying as it was better to be safe than sorry they had sent emails to all Petperks that bought Iams products. I feel much better now. I was in a terrible state yesterday when I got the email. Even though I hadn't feed it in about 3 weeks and the little ones were acting fine; just the thought of maybe having fed rat poison to these poor little souls was horrifying to me. Karen |

| Thanks for the tip. I'm [B]not[B] still feeding Iams products! I will look into those that you mentioned. I only bought the E. puppy a couple of times. I'm back to good old pedigree canned, which is what I'd feed my Fox Terrier show dogs years ago. k. |

| Hi Thank you for the link. I've never seen any of the foods both dry and canned listed tho I've heard of ANF from years ago. BTW, When I say that I'm feeding Pedigree canned, that is not my dogs main diet. The babies get Royal Canine puppy 33 as their main source. The canned is feed twice a day about a table spoon each kid as a little extra treat Miss Minnie sometimes eats it but most times I end up throwing it out. |
