| Clarification on "Barbiturate" I have read on YT many times that "barbiturate" shouldn't be used during their neuter. I have talked to a few vets..they told me something like first they have to inject them with something and something and then hook them up on Isofluorine gas but one of the name I caught before the Isofluorine gas is "Valium" which when I googled, is one under barbiturate classification...so that is not safe or did I just confused myself?

| My memory is a little fuzzy because Howie got neutered a few months ago, but my vet explained the barbituate situation. I *think* it's just a small amount in the beginning to calm them down. After they're calm they get the Iso.
