I only give Buddy filtered water because that is all I drink.

I know, when I found that out about Dasani I was shocked, although I never really liked the taste of it as much anyway. Now, Jaden and I only drink Crystal Guiser or Aquafina.

We all drink tap water here. But our water is good, not like some of the other states in the USA.

I give my girls Distilled water. I was told that it helps to cut down on the amount of eye goo they have. Seems to work for us

If we're out and about, they get whatever bottled water that I'm drinking, I just buy whatever's on sale

Everyone in my family, including Hootie and Hobbs, drink tap water. But like Bnot said, our water in Alabama is good...it's perfectly clear...not yellow or milky.

There are a lot of minerals in tap water that aren't in distilled water. Bottled water is really not all that good for you. Plus I would think the floride in city water would be healthy for their teeth just like it is for humans.

If there is no health issue with your tap water I can't imagine why you would not give it to them.

yea the funny thing aobut bottled water is that there are no real regulations controlling the quality of bottled water compared to regulations with tap water. but honestly its all personal preference for everyone i think .. as long as everyone is happy and healthy that's all that really matters right? hehehe

even though i have to say i love fiji bottled water but damn that stuff is expensive if its not on sale.

Maybe its just Jaden but when I first had him and gave him tap water it seemed to upset his tummy and he would not drink it. Our tap water here isn't bad at all, not yellow or milky, and from what I've heard doesn't taste bad. I just personally have never drank tap water even as a kid, (I even use distilled water to wash my hair, I just like the way it feels better...I know I'm crazy

). If I'm away from home I want to drink bottled water and Jaden seems to prefer non-tap water as well, I don't know if he just has a sensitive tummy or what? Of course, I would think what you're saying about floride would be correct, makes sense to me anyway, but, he does get his teethed brush daily and we also use Petzlife as well as a dental cleaning once every six months so I think that makes up for whatever he's missing with the distilled water. I wonder if they've ever done any long term studies on dogs who drink tap versus purified?
