I'm so glad everything went well for your babies sugery. I have to take Cooper in next month to be neutered and I was wondering if anyone else had to leave their baby overnight. My vet stated that they like to keep them overnight just to watch and make sure thigs go ok. Is this normal or should I ask to bring him home the same day?

My old vet keeps them overnight when I requested to bring him home that evening I was told no way! Well I have since changed vets and Peanut is being neutered next Friday. When I spoke to one of the new vets she told me they treat a lot of yorkies and not to worry about Peanut. She also said there is no need to keep them overnight it is routine. We will see when I drop him off next week and they have to pry him from my arms.

Well, Hailey's home with me.It's so heartbreaking watching her whining in pain though. I wish i could help her! The vet gave me some Metacam drops and i hope it will make her feel less pain.
