| My vet said cat food has more calories in it so it would be bad for dogs. My dogs were sneaking into my cats food and the vet said put it up.

| Cat food can make dogs very sick.We have a cat and we have had to move his litter tray and food out of Lady and Jessies way. They both loved his food and every now and again they would throw up,but ever since they cant reach it anymore they dont.I think cats food has alot of ash in it and makes them sick..this is what I read somewhere but im not sure. |

| Cat food is too rich, too much protein and you need to keep it up high where your dogs can't get to it. I put mine on top of the dryer and the litterbox is on the counter in the laudryroom to prevent additional snacking!!lol! |

| Stewie eats cat food when we visit my aunt's house and he's never had a problem. I know it's fatty, but I am not going to tell her what to do with her cat's food since I am the guest. I tell him "no" and take it out of his mouth, but you can only do that so much.
