| What is the best way to transition a yorkie from one type of food to another? And... I plan on switching my yorkie from one brand of food to another. My question is, what is the best why to do this? Also, I am not sure if this is the right place for this but, does anyone know if Nutri Dents by Nylabone is a better alternative to Greenies? Before I had heard much about Greenies and the problems associated with them, I bought a large quality of Nuri Dent bones in bulk. I hope that they are OK, but if not, I guess I will just get rid of them. Thanks, Kyle |

Donating YT 14K Club Member | Mix the old food with the new food. As you start to run out of the old food, just add more of the new food. You don't want to switch them over immediately but more of a gradual process. Loose stools are common during transition phases but keep an eye on it to make sure they aren't too runny.
