(I take care of them most of the time) So WHAT and how much do you feed your yorkie. | I don't know if this is going to help you or confuse you more. Sissy had been on Royal Canin Mini Puppy Bites for 6 months. Then she got sick and has since refused all dry foods (I've tried several different brands along with several canned foods, adding water, adding dog gravy) no matter what I did. Her main food is now by Natural Balance; the Turkey/Rice, Beef/Rice and Lamb/Rice that is sold in a tube (like sausage). She gets about 1/2" of the tube sliced, morning & evening. During the day, she will get pieces of fruit (apple, papaya, mango) as I eat it along with "treats" when she comes in from pottying. I use the Old Mother Hubbard small bones (broken up into little pieces) or Cheerios. Depending on what I have for dinner, she will sometimes get some brown rice and veggies, and she loves eggs with spinach and cheese (though she won't eat cottage cheese).

| Kibble is Natural Balance, organic. I add 1 tsp cooked chicken breast and 1tsp veggies, green beans, peas or carrots whatever I defrost. He gets fed 2x a day. 1/2 c on the kibble. Snacks are: cheerios, natural lamb and rice or chicken and rice treats and any other natural or organic doggie treat. He also likes bannana, if I am eating one I will give him a little piece. |

| I had a hard time in the beginning with my two...so I did a lot of research and from what I read I decided to try......Wysong dry food and I give them Merrick canned wet food. They have done great on them! Merrick has a lot of differan t varietiey flavors and I swear it looks just like some people food. My sister has on more than one occasion...opened my fridge and almost ate their food from the tupperware container LOL....it looks GOOD! she thought it was people food! They love the "wingaling", but it has very soft chicken bones in it which made me very nervous at first, but i just moosh them with a fork to be safe and they LOVE it....the smothered comfort is good too........actually all the flavors are good. For treats I give them "pupcorn" or yogart drops....puparoni.....but their favorite is the pupcorn....good luck hun, I know that there is soooo soooo much info and differant brands out there it is hard to decide.

| There is so much information, and one article will contradict another. It's all so confusing. When I first got Ollie, she was so picky, she refused everything, I bought bag after bag of food. Finally I tried Science diet, and she would eat that. Then I got Chachi, and he came with Royal Canine, and good old Purina Puppy Chow, and Cesars. So now they each get 1/4 can of Cesars morning and night, and they free feed on a smorgasboard of 3 different brands of dry food. I rotate the dry foods, (I have 6 brands) I will continue this until they are gone. Remember I bought bag after bag. They seem to prefer the Royal Canine, so that is probably the one I will stick with once the others are gone. I figure with the variety, what one brand is lacking, another might have. Our motto is, any food is better than NO food, so I guess feed her what she likes. |

| Natural Balance For Buddy I feed Buddy Natural Balance dry & canned food. He really loves it, along with a few carrots for treats. He also loves the Bil-Jac liver treats. |

| I feed my VERY picky eaters Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lover's Soul. We tried about 6 different brands until we tried Chicken Soup. Hobbs would not touch the others, but he gobbles up the Chicken Soup! We also put Missing Link supplement on the food, and Hobbs loves that, too! He licks the residual from the bottom of his bowl! The Missing Link makes his coat so silky and shiny. We leave the food out all day for him to munch on. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | Lex was being fed Royal Canin when I got him. I changed it to Nutro Natural because he had flaky skin and was super itchy. He is now turning 8 months and I have changed him to Merricks. He loves the stuff and it's way better (I decided this after reading the ingredients and from rave reviews from other YT folks) for him. He loves the Turducken and the Pot Pie. Good luck!

| ZheZhe is 4 years old and has a little weight problem. She has gained 2 lbs. in the last year. Her vet was a little upset. She went from 9 lbs to 11 lbs. So, he suggested to put her on Premium Edge Healthy Weight Management II Program. It's a fairly new product. It's all natural food and Zhe loves it. I feed her 1/3 cup in morings and 1/3 cup in evenings. Since March of this year, she has lost 1/2 pound. We have also changed her treats. We went to a all natural treat. Evolve all natural Granola treat. And she loves those. She gets one of these a day. Since we have switched her to all natural foods, Zhe looks and I'm sure she feels a whole lot better. pwolfkill |

| Kali eats Nutro Natural puppy lamb/rice canned. Royal Canine mini kibbles. I just found Merricks at our groomers so we will be trying these out very soon. Kobe is on a prescription diet so he doesn't get to choose. |
