| Rabies shot I need a little guidance about vacines and doses.last year our Aidan 4 pounds worth had his rabies shot, about 2 hours latter,we found him standing at the wall all stiff and only able to move his eyes, being a people nurse i gave him benadryl and called the vet,he said he is having a reaction to the shot, due to his size and weight he must not be able to take all of it.has anyone else found this happening to there little ones? What i have put together is they can't have the full dose....has anyone else had this problem,Our vet is a country vet,we live in a farming community and livestock is there main thing along with small animals too,he is trying to fine information about this, but Aidan needs his shot very soon, also we will never get the 3 yar shot for anyone of them.......hope someone knows about this ,,,thanks Aidan,Molly,Andy,Bella and our new baby" little bit" aka addie... |

| My Jewels had a slight reaction the rabies nothing like you are describing though. I would see if the vet can give you a waver so you dont have to get the rabies shot
