| Dezi is 3 1/2 pounds (4 months 1/2) I walk her Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the morning and in the afternoon about 1/2 hour. Tuesdays and Thursday she goes to doggie day camp. She is so tired from playing all day, she does not want to walk, she gets home and its an early day for her. Saturday and Sundays we go to the doggie park for abou 1 hour. |

| Punkin is currently 8.5 lbs and is one year old. We try to walk her everyday between 15 - 40 minutes depending on the weather and our schedule. Yesterday we got caught in a downpour. She looked so funny all wet walking down the sidewalk. She didn't find it that amusing though

| Jaxon is almost 4 pounds now (7 months) and we try to walk him every day. Usually 15 minutes or so, sometimes a bit longer. He seems to really enjoy it and probably would go longer if we let him. |

| Bridget is 3.8 lbs, she'll be 2 in July. We usually do a 15-20 minute walk in the morning (if moms on time and not in a rush!) and a longer one in the evening. There are several small dogs in our neighborhood and we all walk up to the park together in the evenings and let the kids play together. |

| Tank is just over 4lbs at 4 months. I was walking him every evning for about 15-20 minutes until I hurt my knee 2 weeks ago. Now I just have really hyper active puppies running around the house all night because they aren't getting their walk. Hopefully I'll bounce back from this and we'll be back on a walking schedule in a couple of weeks. |

Luvs Lulu Donating Member | walk Lex is five and a half months and I think about 5 or so pounds now. I have to weigh him again. His size is very deceptive. He is small looking but has the weight some where....lol. Anyhow we don't really take long walks like that. Things are usually rushed being as I have three kids (9, 6 and almost two) and work full time. As the weather gets nicer the kids and I will be taking our nightly half hour walks so he will be along for that one. Lex gets a ton of exercise during the day playing with my son and our Siamese Cat April. SO I guess for now that makes up for my lack of walk time. He and April really play hard.

| First of all - I walk - my pup "runs." We don't really go for walks. I take my little pup out - on his 50-foot clothesline leash and let him run his heart out...at least once a day - and usually more. Of course, he stops occasionally to smell the roses and pee! I live in a condo association with six duplexes.... My backyard goes the entire length of these 6 duplexes (it's about a block and a half of beautiful green grass). Plus it goes about 80 feet out to a ranch style fence with a pasture and horses on the other side. So - all the dogs here get together daily and run their hearts out. We neighbors stand around and enjoy watching them - sometimes for an hour or more. The only time I ever take my dog out on a regular leash is when we go out to potty - late in the evening. I want him close to me when we're out that late. Carol Jean |

| Holly is just 6 months and just over 3lbs. She loves her walks. I walk her every day for about 45 minutes-1 hour, although I try to alternate longer off lead walk with a more sedate street/park one. If it rains we just go up and down the street a bit. She was spayed on Monday,so no walks til the end of next week! I miss our walks. She wags her little tail with joy when she hears the word 'Walk' and sticks her neck out for the harness she doesn't really like that much! I did build up the walk time though, starting with 10 minutes when she was 3 months old.

| We walk Mitzi (9 years) at least 4 times a week for about 30 minutes or as long as she likes to walk. Mostly we walk much longer and she gets carried after a while. She has some problems with her left knee, so she doesn't like to walk everyday. Best indicator is to ask her if she wants to go for walkies. Jumps around - she loves to! Vanishes in her favorite closet - she doesn't. Don't tell me Yorkies can't talk! When we go for a longer hike we take a baby papoose with us and Mitzi loves to sit in it on my husbands chest. Talk about attention! We also put her in there when we go for bike rides and she can never get enough of that. |

| We go out at least 3 times per day for 20-60 minutes each. He goes with a dog walker while I'm at work and they walk for about 20 minutes. Rain or shine he's never too pooped for a long walk! |
