| Possiable dog food recall? I was just on another site. They were talking about some dogs that were fed Nutro brand dog food and now are having seziures. The dog food was contaminated. I can't find anymore information on it. Has anyone heard of any recalls on Nutro? |

| Very scary stuff. I will definitely keep my eyes and ears open, and post any news that I hear. Thanks for the heads up.

| This is what I have found out on the nutro dog food: A lady's dog died and another one of her dogs is experenicing seizures. The dead dog was tested and they (vets) said that the dog food in the dogs stomache was contaminated. Nutro has taken samples from her bag of food to be tested. The test results are not back yet. The vets are certain the food is bad. The bag of food was a 40lb. bag. SKU#7910520143 the information under the sku is: best used by 05 may 2007 01:22 2cr5 |

| I just searched and searched and haven't found any news. There's nothing on their website either. Also, most Nutro bags are 30-35lbs at the most. and the SKU #s are much shorter. They're 6 digits. Hope that helps.

| dog food recall Are you thinking of the Royal Canin recall from Canada? Apparently there are several of the soft canned foods that have been recalled because of the wrong balance of vitamins they contain - if I'm not mistaken, it is vitamin D that is way out of wack and has caused a few deaths in dogs and cats. |
