Doesn't like wet food I give my puppy a mixture of Evolve dry food with Nutro Natural Choice wet food. He was eating it just fine up to now. Now he doesn't like the wet food. He eats all the dry food and leaves the wet. I read that it is better to feed them dry food. So should I just stop giving him the wet food? Are there advantages to giving wet food?

romeo doesn't like wet food either. the vet said wet food is a luxury anyway. dry food is better because it helps clean their teeth. romeo is very happy on a diet of royal canin yorkie formula dry food.

I am glad that wet food isn't so good for them. I guess I am lucky he doesn't like it. I have a huge bag of Evolve. I hope he doesn't get tired of it. We'll see. Romeos Mommy, how long have you been feeding Romeo Royal Canin? I am just curious to know if he has gotten tired of it? Also, how old is he and much do you feed him?

| Your lucky your Yorkie does not like the wet and really likes the dry. My Yorkie is 4 months old and is the WORLDS pickiest eatter. I have still yet to find a food dry or wet that he likes and will actually eat or finish eatting. i can feed him boiled chicken and he will eat that but too be honest (and i do love my Yorkie to death) it is a pian in my butt to always have to make him chicken. Why can my puppy not be a noraml guy and eat regular dog food like everyone else, ha, ha? :-) If he is 4 months old is it okay to just be feeding him 2x's a day instead of 3 or should he be eatting more than that?

My Yorkie is not a picky eater. He eats anything and everything, however, lately he doesn't like the wet food. I guess that is a good thing. I just hope he doesn't get sick of dry only because when I mixed the wet I would use a different flavor after one can was finished so he wouln't get sick of the same flavor. About feeding your 4 month old, I really don't know. I am a first time Yorkie owner and I got my little guy when he was 6 months old and he was already eating twice a day. I am sure someone else on the board can help you with that question.
