| ingredient beets in recipe confused I got this book from the animal advocate's site. It is strictly for a yorkie's diet. The recipe calls for cut up beets and chedder cheese. Why chedder cheese and are beets safe?? It doesn't explain in the book. It just says that Yorkies came from an area where these foods in the recipe were apart of their diet. suzie |

I wouldn't have thought of given either of mine beets, but I guess I will have to try it! | |

| a lot of commercial pet foods have beets in them. it's suppose to help compact the poop in the bowels. ie, help it be more hard when it comes out. |
