| medicine for heartworm our vet has recommended sentinel for our baby fergie . since she is so little, about 3 pounds at 4 months old and since this is a poison do you think this is safe. thanks in advance for any help from fergie's mom |

|  I have Bailey on heartworm medicine... He's been on it since he was 6 weeks old. He's 2lbs 1 oz right now and is on the 1-10lb dose. I've heard bad things about the heartworm shot (actually I think they stopped using it) but so far, Bailey's been ok. I feel heartworm prevention is very important, especially for us, we live in a very high risk area |
