| I would suggest using a harness instead of a collar on your Yorkie. It is better for their necks. The scooching could mean she needs to have her glands expressed. Your vet should be able to do this for you.

| Dog will sometimes scoot on the ground to wipe off the poop that has stuck to their butts. The only reason why the dog is trying to bite the collar is because he/she is not use to it. Give your dog some time. I would suggest a cat collar that has the elastic just in case it catch on something if your puppy is going to wear his/her collar 24 hrs a day. | The diarrhea might be making her butt hurt or she may feel she needs to do a little extra to be clean . Mine drags his butt only when he has diarrhea. I use a wet paper towel and clean him right after and he doesn't do it. Oh the things we do for love.

| I Agree with Babbie! because Oreo was 8 weeks and he had roundworms.. and i got that fixed.. but he had diarrhea and scooted his tooshee still! i found out later he had tapeworms .. so just to be sure! either anal glands or worms.. 8 weeks is around the time they do get them. |

| LMAO...... my cairn terrier did the scooting thing a LONG time ago, and the next thing we know we are all laughing histerically because there is a BIG LONG BROWN STREAKMARK on the carpet As far as the collar..... toby did this too, he eventually got used to it.....you could try putting bitter apple spray on it |
