| Growth??? I was just curious about my baby Daisy's growth. She is exactly 16 weeks and she does not seem to be growing. I really don't know how much she weighs but I know it's around two pounds if that. The breeder and the papers state that she is a toy not a teacup. To me although she seems like a teacup. Are they all this small at first? When do they begin to grow? I hope someone out there can give me some info. Thank you.... |

YT Addict | Sometimes yorkies throw of tinies. My first litter was two girls. One grew up to be 5lbs and the other one two lbs. The mother was 5lbs and the daddy 4. It is better to get larger pups but my little two lb girl is healthy and adorable. Just don't plan on breeding her if she doesen't get to 5 lbs. Some tinies have a lot of health problems also. |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sometimes it's hard to tell their growing. I weighed Cali each weeh to monitor her growth. Some weeks she would look the same and then all of a sudden she would look a little taller and longer. They all grow at different times. I think Cali was under 2 lbs at 16 weeks and now at almost 8 months she weighs 4 lbs.

| They go through various patterns in their growth and sometimes they arent really growing and then all of a sudden they will have a growth spurt. It does sound like to me your pup is going to be one the small side though.

| Thank you Thank you very much for your responses. I appreciate the help. I hope that Daisy will be healthy if she is a tiny. I guess I will see her growing soon. Thanks again... |
