| Small skin bump, should I worry? Hello everyone, Recently, I lost my eldest dog, Mia, to kidney failure. Mia always got her haircuts from the groomer, while I usually groomed my youngest dog, Max. The week before Mia's diagnosis, I had just groomed Max and discovered a little bump. It felt like a mosquito bite to me, so I applied some ointment that night. However, with everything going on with Mia's treatment, I completely forgot about it. I recently took Max in for some dental work and showed the bump to the vet's assistant. Unfortunately, by the time I remembered the bump, the vet had already finished with me, so I asked the assistant about it. They asked if it had grown since I first found it, and it hasn’t. In my opinion, it’s remained the same size and texture but more eye see better then one. Ive only applied ointment the first time I saw it and today. The assistant had advised to put ointment on it to see if its a skin rash or something. Max has an upcoming check-up on his dental work on the 24th, and I wanted to get someone’s opinion before the visit. | I have no idea. Doesn't look like anything dreadful, but I would have the vet look at it. Any chance you can email pics to the vet? Probably waiting until the appt won't hurt as long as it is not getting worse.
