| I was using Hills until there was a sewing needle with thread attached in the food that Precious almost swallowed. It was obvious it didn’t come from my house due to the needle & thread size & it was a brand new bag - happened as soon as she ate. They concluded that it didn’t come from their facilities but I find that hard to believe |

| I think those of us whose dogs have to be on prescription food it is really scary when prescription food is recalled. It makes me so uncomfortable and confused as to how it happens if extra precautions are taken with prescription food. Sadly there are only three choices for those of us with dogs that must stay on prescription food which is Hill’s, Royal Canin and Purina. Just so scary and frustrating. Luckily we use Royal Canin not Hill’s but if this could happen to one it could happen to the others.

| The problem is most dogs on prescription food can’t just switch to a non prescription food so that’s not going to work for most.
