splitting food

Bella seems to be more hungry in the morning than at night. Does anyone ever just give one feeding for the day?

I give most of Bella's food in the morning and then at night just give her 1/8 of a cup if she finishes that I will give her another handful of kibble but she doesn't always seem interested in it.

I cannot leave food out as her brother will go and eat it if she is not fast enough

We do morning and night feedings because if Bella doesn't get food at night, she will throw up in the morning from an empty stomach.

I know people who do the once a day thing -- and some kiddos do fine w/ that. Maybe just feed her a tiny bit in morning - rest at night...?

I used to have to hand feed my older girl but after we got a second dog I never had to again.

I feed mine breakfast at 7am and dinner at 4:30-5pm. They need both meals or will vomit bile. They sometimes stare at me to let me know they're hungry again just before bed, which is when I sometimes give in and let them have some bedtime treats. I keep a very regular feeding time and measure out amounts, so that their potty is also regular.
