| Car sickness Does anyone have this problem? Penny starts drooling within a mile and then after 10 to 20 minutes gets sick. Other than medicine what can be done, do they out grow it? I tried taking her for short rides often, but didn't help. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | thankfully she will grow out of it How old is Penny? Bailey went through that and it lasted a month. I did not feed him for 2 hours before taking him out in the car. I kept him on my lap with a blanket so he could see outside the window. At the first sound of his about to vomit noise, i pulled over and got him outside. A friend suggested some aromatherapy drops to destress the dog in the car, but I never tried that. Hope this helps. |

| My yorkie is 9 mths old and still gets car sick. I find that if she is being held and not rocking back and forth that she will not get sick. I try not to take her too much in the car but also feel that she needs to get used to it. Obviously, I feel bad though Going on the airplane is a whole different story... don't even ask about that!!! |

| poor baby! Gizmo would get car sick when he was a little baby. But he grew out of it. I think some dogs can stay that way though. I hope he does get better though!!

| I have a 4 month tiny girl. She is the sweetest little baby and the best car companion!! Amazingly enough she will sleep right through a 7 hour drive without feeling the urge to go potty. We take her out of the car or attempt to give her the opportunity to go potty, but she will just look up and stare and plop her fluffy head right back down. Yet... since I have been with her, oddly enough I am the one that can not handle the car rides any longer. I get very car sick and all it takes is just a mile in the vehicle and I am already feeling bad, she on the other hand feels the engine running and she falls asleep right away!!! |

| The first time the breeder took her to the vet she was car sick. Penny is now 1 year old and she still gets sick whether I hold her or not. She doesn't have to go far so I hate to give her drugs. I guess I will need to if we go very far. We are campers and I was hoping to travel with her. |

| Mine Freaks My Toby is 14 weeks and he doesnt get car sick but he freaks out. He barks at the top of his lungs (like to the point of heavy breathing), shakes and tries to crawl up onto my shoulders like a cat. He does it everytime....except the last time we drove, so Im hoping he is getting used to the car. Cause if he doesnt hes gonna be knocked out by way of Rx on our cross county drive this summer. I hope your baby starts feeling better, I know it can be a headache to have them feeling bad.
