| My dogs runny eyes? Recently my dogs etes have been more runny than usual & it appears to be white looking like the stuff we get in the corner of our eyes when we wake up & when I closed her eye & rubbed it out it appeared white on my fingers Why could this be happening ? I took her to the very in September & her test results came back great & he said eye discharge would be normal. Could it be allergies though? She's been biting a her paws & licking her butt & scratching more. Oh & sometimes she can just be sitting on the bed & she'll make the sound like we make when something is trying to come back up But other than those she's always hyper & eating & acting normally |

| If the discharge is white, sounds like it could be hair in the eyes. I use a wet cotton ball to clean around the eye and drizzle water into the eye to help remove hair or anything else that may have gotten into the eye. Usually allergies or other problems will produce yellowish or greenish discharge. That should always be checked by a vet.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | The hacking could easily be GERD: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/die...wallowing.html And the paw licking / eye issues / scratching sounds like allergies: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/die...tart-here.html
