| Raw diet now eating poo I hadn't had this issue but now that my girl has been on raw for almost a week she's started eating her poop. WTH? How do I stop this? She wasn't doing it on kibble |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hmmm...that's really unusual bc usually raw-fed poops are really dry, crumbly, and not very appetizing to dogs. Are you feeding pre-made or Prey Model? It could be there is something in the food she is unable to digest...

| I got 2 sample bags of Nature's Variety chicken and 1 sample pack of Primal. I've given her some of each. The poo is very dry from what I can tell. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Very unusual that the poos would be appetizing. You could try Solid Gold's SEP (Stop Eating Poop)...that may work.

| Frozen pineapple. It was suggested by someone a while back and it stopped Max from eating poop. But when I stopped giving him the pineapple he started eating poop again

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Are you absolutely sure that's she's eating her poop, when I feed raw, their poop is so small that it looks like they are eating it, but they aren't.

| I've caught her twice with it in her mouth. And 3 days in a row she's not woke me up at night and her pee pad would be wet but no poo. |

| When a dog's diet is changed suddenly, it takes a while to adjust. Maybe some of the food is going through her system undigested, so it is still appealing to her? You may want to do the transition more slowly to see if that helps. In other words, start out with mostly kibble, and then slowly add in more raw over a several week period. |

| Maybe it is not a matter of it being appetizing and maybe she simply notices that it is different and is concerned. Maybe she is trying to hide it by consuming it. Also, she may no be pooping as often on raw as she did with kibble. This might be the reason that you are not finding any on her pad in the morning.

| I'm going to keep working with her. She seems to love the raw and I know it's good for her in that aspect. I do keep kibble down for her as well though she doesn't seem to notice. I'm going to keep watching for another week when she goes to the vet and see if she's still doing it |
