| Natural balance causing mia to burp frequently? I know burping is a normal "gesture" in dogs but Mia seems to do it often now that I switch her food. I'm feeding her natural balance the sweet potato & venison flavor. Weird is she wasn't burping before being on this food why is she now. I came across an article that burps are caused either from eating too quick or some dogs also burp because of food allergies. I still have plenty of food left given that she only has about a week and half on it and believe me she loves it a lot more. she does eat it pretty fast in less then a min or slightly 2 her bowl is squeaky clean. I was thinking should I put her on the duck and potato instead? since this is what stated : "Natural Balance has created Potato and Duck Formula for dogs with these food allergies, along with effective natural ingredients to help rebuild the dog's immune system. Natural Balance Potato and Duck Canned Formula is a complete and balanced diet for your dog, yet it has been formulated to complement our Potato and Duck Dry Formula so dogs with allergies can now have a complete allergen-free diet" and I've seen many reviews saying they have done very well on this diet specially those prone to allergies. | My 3 y/o boy has been on NB limited ingredients 9 months, he has had the dry sweet potato & venison flavor, also Bison, rabbit. I tried the duck, had to return it, he didn't like it, would not eat it. He wolfs down his food. No burping.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Dogs can also burp bc of potential reflux that may occur due to an ingredient that isn't agreeing with their tummies. If it were me and I saw a marked increase in burping, I'd prob switch to something else.

YT 500 Club Member | My puppy burps all the time. But he is a really fast eater so I think he is getting so much air in and he burps. He has been on three different foods and burps with all of them. Sometimes if he drinks his water to fast he burps to. |
