A new wet food is requested by mia Over the months mia has been on cesars wet food, now I know its not the best food but its the one she would only eat. I tried several brands of dry food from blue to wellness to ultra to science diet and non sticked she would rather starve for days so I kepted her of cesars, but now she seems to be tired of it. Im trying to feed her a good grain free canned food. I did try to have her on dry food but it was mission impossible for parmesan to shredded nature balance sausage thing over her food , even mixing wet and dry and instead she would lick the parmesan cheese and sausage and her dry food would be untouched. Indeed I do have a very very picky eater. I was thinking of putting her on wellness canned just for puppy food for now till she turn 1 yr old which is in February 9, but after she turns one what are some suggestions of wet food I should give her ?

I feed my Izzie Science Diet and Cesars wet food. My Vet says Science Diet is balanced and my yorkiepoo needs it. But Izzie would not eat any dry food. So I mixed a little wet with the dry and she snarfs it up. Occasionally, I add a "little" meat I cooked up before making our meal (lightly cook up a little raw chicken or beef). I like to offer variety so she doesn't get too picky. In a year, I have no idea what we will do for feed. She is 7 months now. Most likely, we will continue with Science diet and hopefully wean her off the wet stuff.

Some of my favorite wet foods are TikiDog (not grain-free but definitely a minimal amount of brown rice...it looks mostly like shredded meat and isn't filled with a lot of liquid), Weruva, Earthborn tubs, and Wellness. You might also look into some of the Hill's Ideal Balance cans. FreshPet Vital is a refrigerated moist food but you can store it in the freezer and thaw out portions as needed. Just some ideas! We rotate all of these (depending whatever I can find the best deal on) and the pups love them plain or mixed with kibble

I went for natural balance , both the sweet potato/chicken and sweet potato/venison makes mia lick the plate clean! would it be a bad idea to give her mixed food of natural balance? I was wondering if it I can mix the sweet potato venison dry with the canned one of the same flavor ? BUT to make sure id like to know if its ok to do so?

It's ok to mix as long she eats it quickly. Canned food can only be out a couple hours. My food of choice for picky eaters is fresh pet. We use the bag food in refrigerated section of grocery store but all freshpet is good and dogs love it
