my breeder choose for food, good? I found out today that my babies are on Royal Canin Mini Starter Puppy Food. Is this a good, safe food for my babies or should i change it (after 4+ months of course)? I plan to change to adult food at a year or two, whenever is recomended. Haven't needed to research that yet, still cleaning and puppy proofing everything so I'm ready for their arival. ☺

Raising 2 babies is the same as human babies, Research and do as much prevenitive but I know they will find something, and I can't bubble wrap them. I will just observe and give lots of attention and if somethings not right i'll know it and I'll take my pet insurence and get them a wellness check to be safe. I have experence with breeding puppies, raising puppies and babies/toddlers/young kids. Those were (char-pays), these are Yorkie's, I look forward to their non-stop energy and cuddle time. The only thing I hate about kids, the older they get, the less they cuddle☺

Breeders use Royal Canin for a very good reason, and it isnt because it is cheap! I have used it for over 35 years, never had issues with the food, and if your pup tolerates it and does well on it, dont fix it if it aint broke. The quality control is second to none and the diets are scientifically formulated and tested to meet a balanced nutritionally complete diet for your pup.

Thank you very much for your help. I'm happy to hear this and will only change it when its recommended. Don't care about cost, I only care about quility and safety for my babies. I already have a case if distilled water for them. No nasty additives for them. 😊
