Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome to YT . Is the shaking due to hypoglycemia? Yorkie puppies are prone to this, as you probably know already. Does giving Nutrical or Karo syrup make the shaking go away?

These little ones need feeding at regular intervals around the clock. If they go too long between feedings, their blood sugar levels drop. Has she been examined by a vet? If she is being fed well, and is warm, and still has shaking episodes, I'd be heading to the vet for an exam.

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk, and congratulations on your new little love bug. It's good that you are already going to see a vet, and hopefully the vet can determine what is going on. In the meantime observe the pup and note if he shakes after eating, or after not eating for how long, could he have chewed up something inappropriate (like plastic or a toy), or could he be in pain, could he be constipated, is he scared or maybe adjusting to new surroundings and sounds, is he better when he is being held? By noting all these things, you will be better prepared to help the vet determine the cause. These little ones sure can make us nervous, and I hope everything turns out just fine. Let us know how it all turns out.
