| Enalapril Hi All. I posted a while back about my baby with awful allergies. Just a question is it possible that she could be allergic to the Enalapril I have to give her daily. I'm told by the vet it's lifelong. She is still so itchy. I am at my wits end, don't want to continue Medrol. She was itchy while taking it. Don't know what else to do. I guess next stop is vet derm, thanks for any info you have |

| It does sound as though a specialist is in order. Derm or allergist. Good luck! |

| What have you tried for the itchies? Enalapril should not cause this unless it has a protein based flavoring.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I mean, anything is possible when it comes to side effects, practically. Ie, if it comes in gelatin capsules, could she be allergic to that, etcetera. But, I highly doubt it. I think I've posted before on your allergy threads, right? So I won't bore you with another long post about allergies . But basically, you have to figure out if they're year round or seasonal - and that pretty much dictates the best options for you. Have you tried Atopica or Apoquel yet? Or Temaril-P? Might want to read this thread for more details about treating allergies too: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/die...tart-here.html
