| Food allergy? I posted a different thread regarding taking my dog to the vet for an ear infection yesterday but I've noticed a couple things since. 1. Itching of the face still 2. Itching the ear that's not being treated 3. I've noticed on 3 occasions when I fed him, he started itching his face almost immediately after. (Going to keep my eye on this, maybe a coincidence) 4. Has scooted his bum today, he rarely does this His plastic bowls have been swapped out, and his bedding has been cleaned. It really seems like a food allergy to the royal canin at this point. Anyone else discover this issues in their dog who had a food allergy? |

| Food allergies in dogs are rare at about 10%. I have a dog with a food allergy and isu she vomits and breaks out in hives when eating a food she is allergic to. It is more likely an environmental allergy but you could switch food if you think that's the issue.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | It's hard to say as food allergies are rare...you could def try switching foods since some dogs are very sensitive to corn, and RC does have a lot of corn in it.

YT Addict | I use blue buffalo grain free preservative free. Mine have food allergies and displayed symptoms of itching and vomiting. Some of the pet stores will allow food return if you have a receipt. With the Blue Buffalo you don't have to integrate the food just start from day one 100%. Good luck |
