Giving a bath after being spayed Hello, I was wondering how long I should wait after Molly gets spayed to give her a bath. Thank YOU

At least 2 weeks and make sure she doesn't do any excessive running, jumping or playing for the same amount of time. Also keep a close on eye on her and make sure she isn't licking the incision. If she does, you'll need to put an e collar on her right away.

| I wouldn't worry too much. Just make sure she doesn't jump off furniture etc. did she already have her spay?

No, Molly goes on April 14th for her spay. I am kind of nervous too. I never had a puppy/dog have this procedure done before. I know she will be okay though

That's the hard part. If she hasn't already had the surgery, she will probably be sore for a couple of days afterward and then forget that she just had surgery. I just wouldn't encourage any hard playing, running or jumping on furniture for a while. Good luck!
