| I've fed Merrick canned foods (not the kibble) and they've been a good addition to our rotation. I just placed an order for a few cases of Whole Earth Farms which is the same company but more affordable. It's also grain-free and doesn't have artificial thickeners like carrageenan (if that's an important factor for you) and they have a few chicken-free options as well...so I'm hoping the pups like it. For grain-free chicken-free kibbles, check out Earthborn Great Plains Feast or EB Meadow Feast. Also Nutrisca (lamb and salmon formulas), Nature's Variety Instinct (read the labels for chicken free...several options), and Fromm Pork and Peas are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'm currently feeding Teddy the EB Great Plains Feast and he's done great! About to switch to the Meadow Feast |

| Oh...and also Zignature although I've not fed this one. You can get it online at Chewy...I've only ever seen it at one store locally near me but it seems similar to Nutrisca in terms of having limited proteins and chickpeas as well as being grain-free (and potato-free too). |

| Bailee LOVES Fromm Grain Free. I have tried several other brands and they were just OK. He has been excited about any Fromm food I give him.

| Thanks everyone. I found Milo a food yesterday that's he likes. I got earthborn grain free bison. The pet store that we use had grain free but not many that was GF without chicken. I just don't know why he stoped eating the natural balance GF. He has always liked it. He won't even eat the natural balance kibbles in his bowl that I mix with the earthborn.

| If you check out the truth about pet food website, they show some really gross pictures of canned Merrick that was covered in mold....I believe it was cat food. |

| I fed Chloe Merrick canned puppy food and dry food but after I found "black" chicken in the canned food I researched the company a bit. Chloe wasn't really a fan of the dry food, either.. she would eat it but I don't think she LOVED it. Their canned food also has a toxic ingredient inside, used as a food thickener. I bought Blue Buffalo small breed puppy and she likes it, it has many more vitamins and nutrients than merrick.

| I did years ago but then I found out Merrick is owned by a commercial renderer named Tejas Industries and stopped immediately. |
