Hello. Yitzee is in heat!!!! She is truly a lady now. Could someone please tell me how long her swollen poon-poon and he very sexy behaviour will last?

21 -22 days they say but my girls first heat went way past that.

How old is she? Cali is 28 weeks and I am too afraid to get her spayed. i wanted to wait until she was about 8 months old and hopefully 4lbs or more.

My little girls first heat lasted a little longer than that and her second heat was about the same. Have you asked your vet about spaying her and what does she weigh? Most vets around here like to wait until they are at least three pounds, my mom had to wait until her yorkie was 10 months old before she hit that mark and now at two years is a little overweight for her size at three and three quarters pounds. It is very scary to hand over such a little baby for big surgery!!! I hope all goes well and just take comfort in knowing a heat won't last forever!

My Pippas 1st heat lasted 6 weeks!!!!

Her 2nd last 3 weeks which i think is more the norm
